This award-winning 18th-century former coaching inn combines original character with modern luxuries, including king-size beds, media centres, powerful rain showers and free Wi-Fi. In the village of Loans, on the outskirts of Troon, the The Loans Inn is located in the heart of Ayrshire, within easy reach of the region's many superb golf courses. Close to the A78, the hotel offers easy access to Troon, Ayr and Glasgow Prestwick Airport. Beautifully renovated, the inn combines modern style and comfort with old Scottish charm, boasting original stone walls and roaring fireplaces. The spacious, individually designed rooms are stylish and contemporary, with state-of-the-art comforts. The large, flat-screen TVs have media centres, allowing you to connect your MP3 player, laptop, digital camera or DVD/Blu-Ray player. There are even MP3 connectors and dedicated speakers in the en suite bathrooms. The bar and restaurant offer locally sourced food and there is an impressive outdoor terrace.
