住宿信息
Winner of Cumbria Tourism Award for Self Catering Accommodation for 2024 and 2025. Centred around a 15th Century pele tower, the property has been developed over the centuries with later additions in the 18th and 19th Centuries. The Hall is built on the site of a Roman fort known as 'Castra Exploratorum' and it is believed that some sections of the house have been built using fort stones. The Grade II*-listed estate is nestled in north Cumbria, with spectacular views over the undulating landscape to the Scottish hills beyond. Glorious walks abound, including a path following the clear waters of the River Esk. Beautifully decorated, the apartments and cottages on the estate offer the best of the past and present, combining 21st Century luxury with the beauty and detail of an extensively renovated historic country estate. Guests are welcome to explore the lovely parkland and the Walled Garden where produce for the nearby award-winning Pentonbridge Inn is grown all year round.
