公司信息
Founded with my late husband, Nick, Mas Des Sables has been a family run holiday business since we opened in 1997, and was built as an addition to our family home where I still live, and has now housed 3 generations. I've enjoyed meeting people from all over the world since we've opened, and love that people get to experience, in my opinion, the best part of this island we call home - the west coast with beautiful beaches and sunsets.
My son and his partner Hayley also now help run the cottages and also live on site. We would be delighted to have you stay with us and look forward to meeting you.

周边信息
We are on Port Soif coast road at Grandes Rocques, and have two beautiful award winning beaches a short walk in either direction from the property.
Grandes Rocques is a beautiful, scenic, and quite unique area of Guernsey - away from the bustle of town but with convenient shops and restaurants within easy walk or cycle. We have a butchers, off-license, and sandwich/hot food shop two doors down from the property that also sells a number of fruits, vegetables, frozen, and dry goods. Cobo is a short distance away with a supermarket, newsagent, tea room with excellent cakes, as well as restaurants and bars - The Rockmount, La Reunion, and Cobo bay hotel, all with excellent food including some local and seasonal dishes.
There is no shortage of history in the area. Across the road at Grandes Rocques there are a number of fortifications built during the occupation of the island during world war 2, as well as an ancient fortification that was reinforced and used during the occupation. Those who are brave enough to traverse the rocks at low tide can find the remains of some of the shore defenses on a tiny island between the two beaches. There are a number of pieces of history hidden in plain sight, ask a local and you might be surprised!
There is an abundance of nature here with a local nature trail and beach trails with some of the unique local flora and fauna. In spring and summer you will find an abundance of interesting plants, and if you take a class with outdoor Guernsey you could learn to identify rocket, wild mint, sea spinach, wild leeks, sea fennel, and more. The sea life includes birds, fish, and very occasionally in the summer months we've been lucky enough to have dolphins swim past. The rock pools on the beaches are teeming with shrimp, crabs, starfish, and more.
For the adventurous at heart, the beaches nearby can be used for surfing, windsurfing, kite boarding, paddle boarding, boating, and more.
