The area where the house is situated is a really quiet area
Please no high heels in the home and please remove the outdoor boots when enter the house
Is a special area by the entrance where the outdoor shoes can be left
Our central location is ideal for the Enchanted Forest departure point, Etape cycling route and Pitlochry Festival Theatre. The house is also in a convenient location for keen walkers to take a breathtaking hike up Ben Vrackie. Nature lovers can stroll through the Black Spout Woods or take a scenic route around the Pitlochry Dam & Visitors Centre.
Uisge Beath is the Scottish Gaelic term for distilled alcohol or “water of life”. There are two distilleries in town. Blair Athol Distillery was founded in 1798, making it one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, offers a visitors centre and a tasting guided tour. Edradour situated in an idyllic location was the smallest distillery in Scotland also offers a visitors centre and tasting guided tour.
Not fond of a wee dram the beer lovers can visit Moulin brewery where they can sample some fine local ales.
A short drive will take you to neighbouring village of Blair Atholl, where you can visit Blair Castle and the House of Bruar.
