Welcome to Little Redlands, a somewhat exceptional 5-star Gold Boutique B&B in the charming Cathedral city of Lincoln. Situated majestically on the corner of the old Roman Road in the south of the City, this delightful Victorian villa is centred on a stunning turret framed by many stained glass picture windows. Brimming with character, our 3 en-suite bedrooms exquisitely blend the many period features with the high specification modern conveniences and discreet technology expected by the most discerning of traveller. From the turret, period cornices and tasteful décor to the electric gated entry, electric vehicle charge points and even genuine Goose down duvets and pillows, for those that appreciate the difference of down versus feathers.
Little Redlands is just for adults, with a maximum of two people per suite, so please leave children with trusted friends or family.
Cognizant that you only get what you pay for in life, we are convinced that Little Redlands is reassuringly good value
The owners, Anthony & Siobhan, live at the back of Little Redlands, in the old orangery and servants quarters. While we have a Giant Schnauzer dog whom is never allowed in the public areas, much to his chagrin, unfortunately we do not allow pets to stay.
As a small independent B&B, we strive to offer exceptional accommodation and personalised service: we want you to fondly reflect on your sojourn at Little Redlands in the stunning heritage city of Lincoln as ‘your special home in our city’. We really look forward to giving you a warm welcome to our lovely home.
Little Redlands is sat majestically on the corner of the old Roman Road, now called the Newark Road, and Doddington Road in the south of the City. Newark Road is the main access road into the City from the south, and we are some 2.5 - 3 miles in from the ring road. Doddington Road is a residential street in the leafy suburbs of Lincoln, some 2.5 - 3 miles fom the CIty centre.
There are good cycle paths into the centre, we are 150 yards to the bus stop and we have ample gated off road parking. Good local retail shops include the M&S Food Hall, a Sainsburys Superstore and the small but busy Forum shopping area all within about 1/2 mile. The Hartsholme Country Park is 2 miles away.
Whether visiting the must-sees of Lincoln Cathedral, Castle, the International Bomber Command Memorial or Hemswell Antique Centre, we are a great place to stay for the discerning traveller. If attending Lincoln University open days or graduations, we feel that students and their relatives alike, will both appreciate the latter staying somewhere special and away from the 'student village'.
