Situated just 2 miles from the centre of historic Lancaster and near the university, the Lancaster House Hotel offers a choice of dining experience, beauty and hair salons, and a fantastic health club. It is 5 minutes' drive from Junction 33 of the M6 motorway, close to Lancaster Train Station. With a fully equipped fitness studio, the Sandpiper Health Club also includes a 50-foot swimming pool, a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and an outdoor hot tub. Guests can enjoy fine cuisine in the Lancaster House Hotel's Foodworks Restaurant, or an alternative menu along with the relaxed atmosphere of the Sandeman's Bar. Lancaster House Hotel is ideally placed for exploring the Lancashire coastline or the historic city itself. The area is home to the Trough of Bowland, Lune Valley, and the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks are both nearby.
