Further afield, the famous dark gritstone of Kinder Scout and the contrasting limestone of Cavedale, offer more Peak District walking routes filled with interest and a sense of adventure. Close by, and easily accessible by car, are Bakewell, Castleton and also Chatsworth House, the ‘Palace of the Peak’ where more stunning surroundings can be enjoyed as the rolling Derbyshire Hills demand your attention.
