From 3 Nov to 14 Dec 2025, our lift will be fully replaced. Rooms will be accessible via stairs only. We apologise for any inconvenience and are happy to assist with any questions. Ideally situated in the historic capital of Cumbria, the ibis Carlisle is just 200 metres from Carlisle Citadel Railway Station. On the outskirts of the Lake District, this modern hotel has easy access to the M6 motorway and local road network. With free Wi-Fi throughout, the ibis Carlisles' 102 rooms include an automatic climate control system and tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite shower rooms have a hairdryer. The hotel’s facilities include a 24-hour reception desk, car rental services, and free on site parking.
