Hillside Cottage was a 17th Century cottage which was originally thatched. It has been extended over the years sympathetically and includes oak beams and oak doors. The views from the cottage comprise of apple orchards, ancient woodland and racehorse gallops as well as our well tended garden. There is an excellent pub, serving great food, just 50 metres along the road. A cosy wood burner sits in the ingle nook fireplace in the sitting room, which is lovely on cold winter evenings.

My husband John and I are retired farmers and have a great passion for horses, especially racing. We love our garden, wildlife, and anything to do with the great outdoors. We have one little dog called Crumble who is quite old but a very special friend.

The town of Ledbury is just short distance away where the Market Theatre produces many interesting productions and also films. The Market house and Masters House are historic buildings full of local information. Lots of privately owned shops fill the High Street as well as retreat restaurants and pubs. We are conveniently situated for the Malverns, Eastnor Castle, Malvern Showground, the Morgan Car Factory, the Wye Valley and Ross On Wye.
