Highfield House is on the edge of the historic village of Parracombe which is in The Exmoor National Park. The large 1980's building belies the recently refurbished interior. Large rooms, highly insulated with new heating and electrics, large powerfull ensuite showers so you have the benefits of mod cons with amazing uninterupted views of the countryside. There are two B&B rooms if let together they have their own entrance and exclusive use of the kitchenette, dinning area and patio. If both rooms are let separately then theses areas are shared with the other guests. If you would like exclusive use for 2 people book both rooms for single occupancy and messgae me to let me know how you would like the room to be set up. Only a 100 meter walk to the Fox and Goose restaurant/pub

Jaye and Keith, live in a seperate part of the building. We have long ties to the village and love being here to share this wonderful area with our guests. Formerly Jaye and her sister Helen ran a large farmhouse bed and breakfast (Twitchen Farm) in the neighbouring village of Challacombe. We are keen horse riders and walkers so have an extensive knowledge of the area and are happy to help you plan your day.

Parracombe is a historic village in The Exmoor National Park. Highfield House is located on the edge of this friendly village, it is quiet, dark at night and has the most amazing views. The Fox and Goose pub is only 100 meters walk away road access is good with A39 bypassing the village. There is plenty to do; extensive and varied walks right from the front door, a sustrans cycle route that also passes the front gate, Lynton and Lynmouth only 5 miles away, Lynton and Barnstaple Steam Railway, Arlington Court NT, Heddons Mouth NT, Exmoor Zoo, all within a few miles of Highfield House. And North Devons long sandy beaches 20 - 30 minute drive Woolacombe, Croyde etc.
