Cosy Log Cabins close to Dunvegan, with some amazing sea views and abundant wildlife. Our cabins are situated in a quiet village on the scenic north west of the island, which is an ideal base for exploring our beautiful island. The area is very popular with sea kayackers, abundant sea food is available seasonally. Shops , post office , hotels and restaurants are within a short drive.
Only a few meters from the shore and a secluded small bay with a reef which usually has seals hauling out.
The cabins faces NW so you have the sunsets over Macleods Tables to take in while relaxing on the porch.
The Cabins are set at the back of the main house and completely private.
Plenty hard standing parking immediately beside the main house and a few meters from the cabins.
As well as a fully equipped kitchen we have a washer/dryer, with laundry capsules and conditioner supplied, to the rear of each cabin for use by guests , handy for longer stays or if you have been traveling for a while.
The BBQ for each property also has fuel and firelighters supplied for your use.
WiFi has recently been upgraded to mobile broadband to give a decent connection speed.
Myself and my family live in the main house close to but private from the cabins and will be available to assist during your stay.
As you can see from the profile picture I am a seasonal fisherman catching lobsters and crab during the spring/summer months in the local area.

As can be seen from our reviews each cabin is cleaned to a very high standard between bookings but additionally we will be putting in place additional wipe down and cleaning of surfaces with anti-bacterial cleaners between guest stays , hand sanitizer will be available in the cabins for guests use and linens, bedding and towels will be hot washed during cleaning.
The location and separation of the cabins and our home ensures social distancing is easily maintained throughout your stay.
Beautiful views and walks nearby, 4 miles from Dunvegan village which has restaurants, pub, grocery stores, petrol station, cafes, bakery, gift shops and the world famous Dunvegan castle.
Three chimneys restaurant, Coral beach, Fairy pools and Neist Point are all only a short drive away.
Harlosh is very busy with kayakers/ canoeists due to it ease of access to the water from the Camus Bhan slipway, also with walkers due to its beautiful rugged coastline and the pipers cave. There is a small rocky beach immediately beside the property and a small sandy beach at the Camus Bhan.
Dunvegan is 4 miles to the North and Portree is 25 miles , Public transport is available from Dunvegan (No56 Bus) Monday to Saturday.
If you are relying on public transport and need picked up from Dunvegan or anywhere local we will do our best to assist, please check with us regarding your plans before booking.
There is a shed available for storage of bikes or other equipment if required , just let us know.
