Great Ashley Farm is set in a beautiful rural location just on the outskirts of Bradford-on-Avon and less than 6 miles from Bath The house is charming and Helens love of interiors shows through with great attention to detail wherever you look, making Great Ashley Farm a very relaxing place to stay with a lovely 'feel' and calm atmosphere. The lovely guest suites are in annexed accommodation which means that each has its own front door, allowing guests to come and go as they please. The farmhouse is set in gardens overlooking a large natural pond, home to an abundance of wildlife, woodland where a small flock of Oxford Down sheep graze and fields beyond where horses and Sussex Cattle are often seen grazing There is a lovely area in the garden for guests to relax and chill. For lovers of the countryside or those just looking for peace, quiet and relaxation this is the perfect spot. The farm is in a fabulous location with beautiful walks, The Kennet and Avon Canal on our doorstep, The stunning Cotswolds and so many National Trust Properties. There is cycle hire in Bradford-on-Avon & Helen is always happy to help with some great rides as she's a keen cyclist or bring your bikes!

There is so much to see and do in the area. The magnificent City of Bath is less than 6 miles by car or there is an excellent train from our beautiful Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon less than 2 miles (also well worth visit) with it's Tithe Barn, The Kennet and Avon Canal and Saxon Church. Great Chalfield Manor ( National Trust ) Lacock and Lacock Abbey (National Trust), Castle Combe are medieval villages used for period drama. Caen Hill Locks, Devizes, Wells with its magnificient Cathedral and Bishops Palace, Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge. National Trust Properties are plentiful The Courts, Holt, Westwood Manor, Avebury, Dyrham Park and Stourhead are all recommended and of course Stonehenge (English Heritage).
