Tintagel is in an Area of Outstanding National Beauty & a Site of Special Scientific Interest.Much of the fine coast line is maintained by the National Trust & there are many beautiful National Trust properties & beaches to visit, including just a couple of minutes walk from us The Old Post Office in Tintagel village (which can also be seen from our Guest Bedroom 1). It is just a 10 minute walk from us to the legendary Tintagel Island & Castle which is a English Heritage property with a fantastic visitor centre & cafe. Also on the beach there you will find Merlin's Cave! Other village attractions are our Visitor Centre,The Great Halls with its beautiful Stained Glass panels, St Nectans Glen waterfall & the ancient Norman Parish Church & Churchyard.The village has a large choice of pubs & cafes, some with live music , quizzes & event nights. Other fine pubs & restuarants can be found in the surrounding villages.The SW Coast path is within an easy 10 minutes walk of us where there are stunning coastal views from some of the fine stretches of cliff top..
