The log cabin is cosy and comfortable. It is suitable for a family of 4 or four adults. Sleeping facilities comprise of a double bed and two bunk beds. The sofa in the lounge also converts to a double bed. The cabin's location is what makes it unique. Sits in an exclusive paddock of one acre surrounded by fields, woods and heathland. It is a haven for wildlife. Guests can enjoy the grounds where there is a trampoline and swings. There is seating outside in the warmer months and enjoy cooking with a BBQ and eating outdoors. There is plenty of outdoor space for playing games and run around. It is completely private. We have our own hens which are kept in a secure run. We also have four miniature dachshunds, which we keep away from guests. The cabin is fully equipped for all your needs. The kitchen is complete with fridge/freezer, hob, a microwave oven, electric kettle and toaster. Full sets of crockery, cutlery, glasses and cooking utensils are provided to cover all your needs. There is also a full free standing cooker in the utility/laundry room. We provide eggs from our own chickens, together with cereals, milk, tea, coffee, bread, butter, jam for guests to enjoy at their own convenience. All towels and linen supplied. A separate laundry room contains a washing machine, an extra sink. Because of its size, it is not suitable for large dogs. When booking, please advise if you are planning on bringing a pet, so we can accommodate your pet's needs.

I have lived in Mannington, Wimborne for over 20 years with my husband Len and my four children. I love this beautiful part of Dorset, which is surrounded by countryside, with the New Forest on our doorstep and only 25 minutes from some of the best beaches in the country and close to historical towns and villages. I enjoy the outdoors, horse riding and going for walks with our four miniature dachshunds. We have been hosting for over 8 years and we enjoy meeting our guests from all over the world. We live on site and we'll be happy to accommodate and assist with any requirements.

We are surrounded by National Trust land. Cattle roams free during summer months. It is great for walking and cycling. Wimborne Mister is only 10 minutes away by car, Ringwood and the New Forest 15 minutes, Salisbury 30 minutes, some 30 minutes from the beaches in Bournemouth and Poole, and other towns and villages. The Jurassic Coast its just 45 away by car. We have numerous restaurants, good pubs nearby, cinema and theatre in Wimborne, Bournemouth, Poole and Salisbury. Pottern Park, Moors Valley Country park is just 10 minutes away with lots of activities adults and young alike.
