The name Fàilte stands for welcome in Gaelic and that is what we want you - our guest to feel when you stay with us. Fàilte is a delightful Victorian Villa in an elevated location on Oban Hill. We are a short distance from the ferry terminal, bus station, train station and Oban' landmark - Mcaigs Tower. We offer a high standard of accommodation and breakfast We also have some great original Artwork by Pascal Miehe - our son and Isabel
We are Thomas - German born in Namibia, lived in Namibia, South Africa and Germany and Isabel- Portuguese born in South Africa and lived in South Africa, Germany and Namibia. We have been living in Scotland for over twelve years and love Oban
Oban is a small town on the western coast of Scotland. Just about everything is in walking distance - restaurants, pubs, cafe's and all public transport. Oban is also called the gateway to the islands.
