“虽然房间不是特别大，但是非常舒适，房间很精美，你可以感觉到主人很用心！需要的东西还是应有尽有，主人很好，他们家有一只猫猫一只狗狗，很可爱，反正我的朋友喜欢得不得了！院子很舒服，我们在院子里吃东西很惬意，值得一提的是早餐，天啊，早餐好多详细的选择，可以送到房间，太精致了！！特别英式。除了不能看到湖，其他我觉得都很不错。出来主街吃东西也很方便，旁边的两个pizza店评分都很高，好吃的！”

We had been visiting the lake District for over 20 years and always felt at home here. When Puddle Duck Lodge became available we saw it's potential and decided to make a life changing plunge and run a guest house! We made Puddle Duck Lodge our home in September 2018 and have carried out a regime of improvements and refurbishment that we hope will make your stay with us as comfortable, cosy and enjoyable as possible. The Lodge was built circa 1864 and we believe it has been a guest house for much of its life, it is full of character and has been a labour of love bringing this to life. We hope you love it as much as we do.

In the heart of the English lake district, a world heritage site, Puddle Duck Lodge is located in quiet but very convenient area of the picturesque Bowness on Windermere. It's just a short stroll to many shops, restaurants, pubs, the Beatrix Potter attraction and the steamer piers. We even have friendly local swans that love having their photo taken! A great base for which ever activity you choose in some of the most amazing scenery in the country.

Please note that Puddle Duck Lodge only has 2 dog-friendly rooms. A maximum of 1 small dog per room is permitted. Dogs are charged at GBP 20 for first night and £5 per subsequent night payable in cash on arrival. Pets must not be left alone at any time.

Please note that Puddle Duck Lodge is strictly adults-only. No additional guests will be accepted in the room over the number specified in the booking. Arriving with children, additional guests, large or unagreed dog will result in guests being asked to leave and the reservation will be charged in full.
