In the Snowdonia National Park, a 5-minute drive from the market town of Dolgellau, Dolgun Uchaf Historic B&B and Cottages in Snowdonia is a farmhouse full of character offering views, well-equipped bedrooms and free Wi-Fi in the public areas. Free parking onsite is also offered. The bedrooms are spacious and modern, and some retain original features such as beams. Each is non-smoking and has tea/coffee making facilities, a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom with towels and free toiletries. It is a room only rate basis here as we currently do not serve breakfast. We recommend the local cafe 'Y Sospan' which is located only 1.2 miles away and is available from 8am. The cafe can cater for vegetarian and gluten-free diets. Guest can find places to eat in Dolgellau. Cader Idris Mountain is 5 minutes’ drive from Dolgun Uchaf Historic B&B and Cottages in Snowdonia. There are many activities available around the property, including hill walking, pony trekking, golfing, fishing and mountain biking.

Dolgun Uchaf Guesthouse is nestled in the heart of adventure-filled Snowdonia National Park! Whether you are traveling with family, friends, or on your own, there is something for everyone to enjoy like: Mountain Biking at both COED-Y-BRENIN and DYFI BIKE PARK within a short drive away. For the little ones, ARTHUR’S LABIRINTH offers an exciting underground adventure, situated in Corris Craft Centre where there are 9 individual craft workshops. Explore the rich history of our area with a visit to the local mines or experience the adrenaline rush at ZIP WORLD and BOUNCE BELOW. Water sports enthusiasts can head to Bala for a day on the lake or White-water rafting. History buffs will delight in a ride on the historic Highland Railways in Porthmadog and the TALY-LLYN railway close by. Or, if walking is your thing, SNOWDON is just a 40-minute drive or CADER IDRIS. Two beaches are remarkably close. BARMOUTH and FAIRBOURNE and the latter you can enjoy pony trekking. Dolgun Uchaf medieval hall house is full of character yet benefits from Wi-Fi and en-suite rooms with great showers. Come and discover all the amazing activities that await you! We have a large book with all local walks including TORRENT WALK which starts from just down the lane from us.

Dolgun Uchaf is located 1.2 miles from the market town of Dolgellau, just off the A470. From Dolgellau, guests can visit a wide range of attractions for all ages and abilities. These include Cader Idris, a very popular range of picturesque mountains, well loved by walking and wildlife enthusiasts. Other activities within easy reach include Coed-y-Brenin mountain bike centre, Dyfi Bike Park, fishing, golfing, Zip World, Bounce Below, Portmeirion, Corris Craft Centre and many more.
