Stonesthrow 184 Broadside is a modernised brick and timber chalet located within the Broadland Town of Stalham. Located on a quiet, peaceful traditional chalet park with bar, restaurant, and outdoor swimming pool only available during peak season.
Parking is available in communal car parks, this does not need to be pre booked. The nearest car park to the chalet is a short walk away on a pathway behind the chalet. Stonesthrow is located on the outer edge of the chalet park, so some traffic noise will be heard from the main road.
There is a step up into the this would make it unsuitable for wheelchair access or the less mobile. The inner doors are narrow and again are unsuitable for wheelchair access.
Pool opens 25th May, Clubhouse open offering food, drinks and entertainment, opening times vary.
A quiet getaway from the stresses and strains of modern day life.
The chalet does not have WIFI but there is free Wifi within the clubhouse.
The double bed is a small 4ft double and the 2 single beds are 2ft 6".
All bedding and towels are provided.
We also supply a towel and tea cloth, oven glove for the kitchen, washing up liquid, wash up sponge scourer and pot brush, j cloth and kitchen roll. Kitchen bin bags also provided.
Liquid hand wash in the bathroom and toilet rolls.
We are dog friendly and welcome 1 dog only, please do not allow your dog on the furniture.
There is a dog bowl, dog towel and poo bags in the kitchen cupboard.
Please be aware there is a coin operated electricity meter, an initial amount will be in the meter please leave at a similar level on departure.
2025 will be our third year of hosting guests at Stonesthrow. We have refurbished the lounge area and both bedrooms over the winter of 2023/2024. We hope these improvements have added to the comfort and convenience for our guests.

Stalham is no longer a market town with the land previously housing the market is now home to a Tesco Supermarket which along with Stalham High Street are located a short walk away, with restaurants, cafés, local shops and take-aways.
Stalham is in a good location for exploring the Norfolk Broads, boat hire is available in many places the closest being across the road a short walk away.
Norwich is approximately 16 miles away if you fancy a day of retail therapy or visit the cathedral or castle.
Great Yarmouth is approximately 17 miles away a traditional seaside town with amusements, The Pleasure Beach and The Hippodrome Circus and Britannia Pier.
Cromer is approximately 18 miles away a traditional seaside town the with the UK’s only remaining traditional end of the pier variety show takes place each Summer.
The Norfolk Coast and sandy beaches are a short drive away from the property, The closest being Sea Palling with a pub, café and amusements with part of the beach being dog friendly and Horsey Gap – famous for its Seal population.
There are numerous family friendly attractions in the local area, including Wroxham Barns, BeWilderwood, Bure Valley Railway, Pettits Animal Adventure to name a few.
Potter Heigham is 5 miles away with pubs, cafes boat hire and Lathams a discount store with a separate fishing tackle store.
