Please Note: Due to the property's historic design, access includes a metal staircase and a steep spiral staircase inside the apartment. As such, it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Hello, I’m Ruth, a lifelong resident of Shepton Mallet. I live here with my partner, Dean, we have three grown-up children (who have all flown the nest), and our much-loved rescue dog, Roxy.
I love hosting because it gives me the chance to meet wonderful people from all walks of life and help them feel truly at home. Whether it’s sharing local tips, providing a peaceful space to relax, or simply adding thoughtful touches to make someone’s stay special, it brings me real joy to create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.
In my free time, I enjoy walking in the beautiful countryside that surrounds our town. The Mendip Hills offer countless scenic trails, and to help you explore, I’ve included an Ordnance Survey map in the apartment with some of my favourite local walks.
I’m also a passionate teacher of yoga and Tai Chi, running classes in the local community throughout the week. Whether you're here to relax, explore, or reconnect, I hope you’ll find your stay both peaceful and memorable.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m always happy to help!
