Hello :) I'm a UK-based digital marketing consultant (SEO'r) and one of the worlds very first Digital Nomads who loves to travel. I also love music and good food so always welcome a trip to places where I can combine those, also preferably in the sun and on a nice beach. I've been living in London for 20+ years but moved to the Isle Of Wight in 2012 to live by the sea for a while. This is my home base HQ and frequently head off to even sunnier climes to live the Digital Nomad dream. I look forward to welcoming you into my home as a guest, I am both an AirBnB Superhost and a VRBO Premier Host, you will be well looked after :). You get almost the whole house to yourselves apart from my bedroom, and my office/spare bedroom (unless you have rented it out additionally for your children to stay in etc). It has already been used as a filming location for the TV program 'Saving Lives At Sea'. Sofa and Chaise Longue. All bedrooms, guest bathroom and dining room have a sea view. CYCLISTS! There is a lockable shed, perfect for storing bicycles etc. An Inflatable CANOE/KAYAK is available too (use at your own risk but has 2 lifejackets). Chimanea on Patio. 20 min walk from the RedJet, down the high street, then the beach and you're here :). Traditional English country cottage and lovely garden with views down to the beach and the sea (Solent). Upstairs Three bedrooms: - Very large Master Double Bedroom with KING SIZE bed for you, with its own sink and is also adjacent to the upstairs bathroom which is for your exclusive use, so is essentially 'en-suite'. Includes Mini Kettle, Mugs, Tea & Coffee, Hairdryer. 4 Towels provided. Bolt Lock so the bedroom is lockable from the inside. - One double bedroom is mine. - 'Childrens Room' with two single beds is also available, although fine for adults too if they are happy with single beds (just add 1 or 2 extra people when you book the master bedroom). - Bathroom for your exclusive use (so is 'en-suite' really), with a modern spacious shower enclosed with a screen (no bath). Sink, W.C., Airing/Drying Cupboard, Ironing board, iron & tumble dryer. Ground floor - Living Room with stove fireplace, perfect for winter stays. - Kitchen - Brand new modern fully fitted kitchen with everything you would expect. - Dining room, table can sit 4 to 6 comfortably and 8 at a squeeze. The house is located in a prime position overlooking the beach and sea (The Solent) in West Cowes, so you can look down toward the beach and sea from the garden & in the hammock if the weather allows. It's a ten-second walk to the beach where there is a tea and ice cream shop open from April to October, but I have plastic glasses for most types of drinks & a picnic rug so why not take drinks/picnic etc down to the beach on sunny days. You walk to the next village along the coast to Gurnard which is World renowned for having some of the best sunsets in the World, which you can enjoy with a pint from one of the three wonderful terraces in the beer garden of The Woodvale pub (which also serves food). If you do, don't forget to keep your eyes open for a white house on the front overlooking the beach with a plaque in the pavement with an interesting story about Winston Churchill's parents meeting there (this is only about a 2-minute walk from Cliffside). I have a two-person canoe/kayak too which you can either paddle up or down Cowes Beach or if you're feeling adventurous along to the next village's beach (Gurnard). You can walk here in 20 minutes from the RedJet (or a 5-minute taxi). Just walk West along the High Street from the RedJet terminal, along the parade, around the Royal Yach Squadron, then down the beach and you're here :). If you're coming by car ferry from Southampton (Red Funnel) then you just get the floating bridge/chain ferry across the Medina (5 minutes) then it's a maximum of a ten-minute drive here. It's also a nice walk to the chain ferry where you cross the Medina to go and visit East Cowes attractions such as Queen Victoria's old home, Osborne House. Cliffside is in a perfect location since it's a quiet location on the edge of town by the beach but within very easy walking distance so you can walk in and enjoy the many pubs and new restaurants that have been popping up recently, which is great to see. **CHRISTMAS** - message me to discuss
