Our guests tell us it's cozy, and apart for some traffic noise during the day, it's quite peaceful and central to all amenities and a railway station. You may lounge on the rear patio and enjoy the view of the 100 metre private garden, overlooked by no-one.
We are right next door and hope to be on hand to greet all of our guests, and assist them in settling in. They can communicate with us via telephone or media messaging at any time, day or night, but we will always respect privacy and keep a discreet distance.
We are 3 miles from the centre of Bridgend, an 8 minute drive, but have many social amenities on the doorstep. The village boasts 6(!) Chinese restaurants/take aways (with delivery), an Indian restaurant, 2 pubs, 4 clubs, fish & chip shop, 2 supermarkets, Dominoe's Pizza, garage, a country park and a railway station, all within 5 minute's walk Plenty of free parking at Chestnut Lodge, 2 minute's walk to the bus stop, 5 minute walk to the railway station and 1 mile to the M4.
