Bright Owl has been renovated by us in August of 2025 and is a cozy cottage on water (Driving the Boat NOT included). A full kitchen, with most everything you could want to prepare meals. We added a surround bar and sub to go with the 55" 4k TV with Netflix, Prime, Apple TV, Youtube, and Samsung TV. Sky link Internet for very fast download speeds (around 200mbs) You can open a hatch and enjoy the view and sometimes wildlife. During the winter she is tight and has a Jabaso Radiator system. Lots of storage and a great foam mattress that is perfect for a great nights sleep. The sofa pulls out to a full size bed with bedding stored underneath. Please take a look at our walk through video. There are also supplied puzzles and games, as well as deck chairs that you could sit out on the dock weather permitting. While no smoking is permitted on board or on the deck, there is pontoon dock where you can smoke. We are pet friendly and there is a dog run in the marina. We know you will love the boat as much as we have and every guest that has stayed on it so far.

Welcome to BrightOwl. Our boat is part of our life, so please take care of him like you would your own house. We have been Married for over 25 years and we bought the Bright Owl to vacation on him during the summer months. We have one son and a few furry children, as well. Elizabeth and I, are both born in America, though Elizabeth was born to an American father and a British Mother, so family is never too far away in our little slice of heaven in Surrey. This is a new venture for us, so any thoughts on how we can do this better or if you have advice on something that needs changing, we ask that you let us know so we can get it right the next time. Our position in the Marina is right across the street from Thorpe Park. A nice walk around the Marina and there is a Marina Diner with breakfast through dinner on somedays. (Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you desire a larger shower than the one on the boat there are shower and bathroom facilities in the marina that are free to guests (use the provided Key card). Also if you need more laundry done than what you can do on our boat, there is also a laundry room that cost a little to operate in the marina. The marina is mostly quite and there are rules about loud noise after a certain time. Read the rules to confirm the exact times.
