Stonehaven is probably best known for the historic Dunnottar Castle - a very popular tourist attraction. It also has one of the few remaining outdoor 50 metre swimming pools. The pool is a sea water pool which is heated and is open from the end of May until September. Other visitor attractions include the picturesque harbour and the War Memorial.
