Welcome to this recently refurbished (2023) apartment in York city centre within easy walking distance of York station and all of the local attractions that beautiful York has to offer. Bars and restaurants are literally on your doorstep. Over the years York has become a very busy and vibrant place both day and night so as the property is in the very centre of the town, we hope that guests are happy to expect a certain level of city noise, there is secondary glazing to some of the windows to compensate for that. The apartment is on the top floor of grade two listed building and has a lot of character, so there are stairs, and no lift so may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. If you have a lot of luggage or larger items the stairs are quite narrow. The bedroom is very large and there is a large king size bed which can be split into a twin room if needed, please let us know is you require this. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped and has a small dining area. The living area is spacious and modern with a large tv with all free view channels. I purchased the building in 2023, it is grade two listed as many buildings are in central York so it's full of character and quirky details. The apartments are homely and modern with a shabby chic feel. In the centre of town 5 minutes' walk from the station and all of the city's many attractions are only a short walk away. In the upcoming area of Micklegate with all of its independent shops and cafe bars. The city is a vibrant and buzzing place in the evenings so there is a lot to see and do.
