The cottage is constructed from wood and stone and there is not a straight wall, ceiling or door casing in the house! You learn very fast (after banging your head once or twice) to duck under the low door frames and beams. The cottage is small, quirky and very cosy but with a suprisingly large master bedroom and bathroom.

Situated in the historic village of Up Holland which has references in the Doomsday Book of 1086. The cottage backs onto the graveyard of St Thomas Church which was constructed in 1307 and is the resting place of the famous highwayman George Lyon.
