Welcome to our recently renovated gite (completed 2021) which used to house the bread and pizza oven for the small farm which operated at our property. The open plan layout combines a king sized bed with comfortable living room, the sofa opens to offer a full sized double bed if required. The property features exposed oak frame and beams, with travertine floor throughout. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen ideal for self catering. The property is surrounded by a garden which offers the chance to sit in the sun or shade at any time of the day to enjoy a coffee or relaxing drink. The expansive views to the south extend to the Pyrenees on a clear day the outline of which stretches almost as far as the eye can see. It's truly breath taking.
We are a young family with a friendly dog and two cats enjoying our peaceful and beautiful rural location. We
We are a five minute drive from the local village which has a boulangerie, bank, small shop, post office, pharmacie, tabac ( which has an old style pick and mix sweet selection) and restaurant. We can lend you a bike if you would like to cycle down to the village but it's up hill on the way back ! The medieval hill top village of Lauzerte is 12km away, with lots of amenities including well stocked supermarket. Moissac (20 mins) has an historic Abbey with cloisters as well as river side walks or a nice flat stroll along the Canal du Midi.
