The villa was completed in February 2023 and is furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is tableware for 12 people. It's wonderful to spend an evening by the beautiful fireplace while the fire is blazing. The large windows offer a view of the forest, lake and the fells. The villa has 2 separate bedrooms; one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. In addition, the spacious loft has more sleeping place. All beds are high-quality Finnish- made with 5 zones. Other facilities include a shower/housekeeping room, a sauna and two separate toilets. A washing machine and a drying cabinet are also part of the villa's equipment. The semi-warm storage room has space to store your ski equipment safely behind the locks. In the winter season two ski passes are included in the rental price (value 600 e/week). Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price. Cleaning fee of 150 e is added to the total amount of the reservation. The minimum rental period is 3-7 days, depending on the time. Check-in is from 18:00 on the day of arrival. However, you can usually check in earlier depending on the booking and cleaning of the villa. During the high season, weeks 8-16, check-out day is Sunday.

In my opinion, Äkäslompolo is the best destination of Lapland in Finland and we like to spend time there all year round. Our active family likes to ski (cross-country and down hill), bike and hike. Summer is also great in Ylläs. Welcome to experience the magic of Lapland as our guests!

The villa is located in a quiet area, yet close to services. You will enjoy the atmosphere of Lapland without the bustle and lights of the village center. You have a good chance to even see the northern lights directly from the terrace of the cottage! The ski track (cross-country) is 200 m away, from which you can immediately enjoy Ylläs' best fell scenery and the extensive network of ski tracks. There is also a versatile hiking and cycling network nearby. Down hill skiing center (called Y1) is about 6 km away. It is 1.6 km to Jouni's shop (supermarket) We recommend using your own car or a rental car to make it easier to get around. The nearest bus stop (also a ski bus) is 800 m away (Äkäslompolo school stop).
