The yard also has a Lappish kota and a fire pit. Saariselkä's diverse cross-country skiing and mountain biking trail network runs right next to the villa, as does the snowmobile trail. The nearest sledding hill is right in front of the villa, and the official Saariselkä sledding hill is about 600 meters away. At the end of the day, you can ski from the ski slopes directly to the villa.
