Welcome to Pikkukelo! This charming log-built terraced cabin is set in peaceful surroundings, just a few kilometers from the center of Ruka and the ski slopes. The cabin features a fireplace and a sauna, perfect for warming up after a day spent outdoors. The compact kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and you can enjoy your morning coffee while admiring the view of Rukanhuippu. The cabin offers 31 m² of living space plus a 10 m² loft, and includes a living area, a sleeping alcove, and a bathroom. The loft provides sleeping space for three people, and the sleeping alcove for two (non-standard). Outside, there is a private parking space for the apartment. A grocery store is within a short walking distance, and the ski bus stop is about 200 meters away.

We would recommend for example these two Valtavaara (winter trail): Address: Ahon Jussintie 7, 93825 Kuusamo -> address is for parking and you need to continue by foot. The route to the top is marked and steep at times, takes few hours to get there. Juhannuskallio: Address: Juhannuskalliontie 27, 93830 Kuusamo. -> Parking is nearby hotel Ruka Peak and route to the top is only about 300m. Juhannuskallio is easier, because you get so close by car. Especially when its dark, it could be nicer. But if you enjoy being outdoors Valtavaara wintertrail is very nice at day time also. Theres also new sauna restaurant called Ruka Base which is placed on top of fell. You get up by gondola (when wheather is good). Place has very nice view with good food - could be place to see the northern lights also.
