Hello! I’m Paula, and I have been living on this beautiful island surrounded by clean waters and changing seasons for 35 years. My passions include enjoying the unique archipelago landscape with my two small dogs and being part of the Puumala community through various organizations. In my free time, I like picking mushrooms and baking . Besides this company, I also run the popular island restaurant Niinipuu, which focuses on local food and serves as a reception for our cottages in the summer. Hosting is my main business and a way of life for me. I truly enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds, being a good host and sharing my culture with guests. I feel it is a privilege for me to share my own lifestyle, Finland’s clean nature and our unique accommodations with my guests.

Paulala has a Finnish wood-heated sauna with access to the clear waters of lake Saimaa, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip. The villa also has its own private fire pit outside for cozying up. The cottage area is designed to enhance your relaxation and retreat.
