We bought Keloruka 15 villa from the Confederation of Finnish Industries for the use of our family and related parties and selectively for rent. For some time now, we had been considering acquiring a property in Ruka, where we've enjoyed skiing holidays with our children for the past 20 years. When this item went on sale, the decision was easy. All our wishes for a holiday home were fulfilled: a location close to the slopes and restaurants, a peaceful atmosphere and enough space to spend a holiday even with a large group, so that everyone also has their own space. In summer 2021, we planned a thorough renovation and expansion of the villa. In addition, we acquired a 9-seater VW-Caravelle passenger car for the villa for our own and our guests' use. Kitchen, all six toilets / bathrooms and the sauna and changing rooms were renovated during fall 2021 and Keloruka 15 welcomed our first guests during spring 2022. During summer 2022, a fifth ensuite bedroom and a large covered and glazed terrace with a whirlpool and fireplace was added . The aim is to bring today's luxury to the building while preserving the fine architecture and atmosphere of a traditional log villa.

In the fully equipped kitchen you will find complete Iittala crockery and a varied selection of glassware. Kitchen, toilets & sauna were completely renovated during the autumn of 2021 and an annex with 5th ensuite bedroom and glazed terrace with whirlpool and fireplace was built summer '22.

The nearest restaurant, the excellent Riipinen game restaurant, is less than 200 meters away, Kumpare's services and Stefans Steakhouse is less than 300 meters away. The illuminated trail can be reached almost from the corner of the villa just over 100 meters away and the nearest ski lift, Kelohissi, is less than 200 meters away. The distance to the chair lifts of the front slope is less than 500 meters and to Ruka center just over 300 m. The snowmobile trail runs right near the villa. While the services and activities are just around the corner, inside the sturdy log walls inside the outside world is silencing.
