Hideaway cottage is located on the shore of Lake Päijänne with magnificent lake view.
The hosts live near by the cottage (behind it), however you have your own privacy, because the terrace and main windows of the cottage are on the lake side. Muurame and Jyväskylä are famous for buildings designed by architect Alvar Aalto. There is also Aalto2 Museum in Jyväskylä. National geographic has ranked lake Päijänne as the fifth most beautiful lake in the world and Jyväskylä was named as the coolest towns to visit by the Sunday Times in 2025!
