Arctic Sky is located in Saariselkä, Lapland, Finland - in the middle of Arctic wilderness. Arctic Sky is for small groups and families. We have huge national park as a backyard and private nature path in the forest! The Arctic Sky Chalet has 5 bedrooms, kitchen / lounge, 2 bathrooms and infra-red sauna. You can book a room with shared facilities or book the whole resort for your own use (send us mail!). Forest suites have a bedroom, living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and sauna, 46m2 total. We serve local, tasty and clean food on request. You can preorder breakfast and dinner. Our special diet options include vegan, gluten free and non-lactose. We promise you will experience a great palette of unique Lappish dish specialties and Arctic flavors. We offer activities for our guests (ask for activity menu with mail). We have two different seasons of activities - the one with snow, and the other one without snow. Winter is time for skiing, snowshoeing, meeting reindeer and aurora hunting. In snowless season, we offer hiking trips, fatbiking and canoeing trips. All year around we offer wild herb workshops, yoga lessons, forest baths and fishing trips.

We are Minna and Aarno, nature lovers and passionate fishers. Our background is at constructions and we have built all the buildings at Arctic Sky by ourselves! Arctic Sky resort is near Urho Kekkonen national park, in the middle of beautiful arctic nature. There are hiking trails in the area and in winter, cross-country ski tracks, fatbiking trails and snowmobile routes. The area is popular for skiing and trekking. Also opportunities for canoeing! Kiilopää fell center in 3km, Saariselkä 14km, Ivalo is 36 km and Rovaniemi 250km from Arctic Sky Resort. The nearest airport is Ivalo Airport, 30 km from the property. The nearest bus stop is only 200 meters away.
