Rickaty Lodge Bed and Breakfast has been created to be as much a home away from home as possible. (We are not a standard hotel, but for the comfort of our guests, we decided to change to an adults-only Bed and Breakfast in November 2019). December 2019 we have introduced a bar on our rooftop. We strive to help our guests relax when they arrive on our island to start their vacation or transit to other subsequent destinations. This is also the case for guests who leave our beautiful island after enjoying a well-deserved vacation there. Our home is situated in an ideal position for minimal transit time to and from the airport with a transfer time of approximately 5 minutes from door to door. This proximity sometimes leaves us subject to occasional aircraft noise for a very brief period. Our property is set out as the entire ground floor and has 3 en-suite bedrooms. Dining room/breakfast room and a lounge to relax and watch TV if necessary. Rooftop and bar access (subject to availability and weather)

Your Hungarian hosts (Imre and Xenia -- Rickaty Lodge) are here for you throughout your stay. (subject to times stated) We reside upstairs at the property. The newly created ROOF TERRACE BAR area is open subject to demand and weather restrictions and for the use of guests to purchase drinks/snacks on the property. We have background music and relaxing lighting for our guests to enjoy and unwind(generally open times from 19:00 -23.00 ) Please note that we have a dog and a cat that reside with us upstairs only. We moved to Gran Canaria from Norway in July 2024. The previous owners, Richard and Kate, moved to Gran Canaria from the UK in June 2018 and opened the B&B in October 2018. We have been the owners of the property since June 2025 and we work every day to provide the same high quality service to our existing and future guests. Our aim is to have as stress free life as possible, this is part of the ethos we try to pass on in how we run the Bed and Breakfast for our guests. We DO NOT accept card payments at the property, CASH or Bizum only.

The area we live in is predominantly Spanish with traditional Spanish values all around. Living at the end of a "cul de sac" has its advatages of no through traffic(car or by foot) and not to mention safe area for parking, walking, cycling etc. Our home is situated within easy access to the GC1 motorway for travelling both North and South of the island, yet within minutes access to the start of our magnificent mountain ranges and coastline.
