Since 2016, the Balearic Government has required us to charge an ECO-TAX* (€2.20 per person per night for the first 9 nights and €1.10 per person per night for the following nights. Children under 16 are exempt) through tourist accommodation. This will be charged upon arrival in cash or via Airbnb with a card, whichever suits you best.

This amount is NOT for the host, it is for the Balearic Government.

*ECO-TAX: Sustainable Tourism Tax to minimize the impact of tourism on the island.

According to the rules of the new 2018 tax law in Spain (AEAT) and Royal Decree 933/2021, we will ask all our guests for a copy of the passport or DNI (identification document) of adults and minors, before arrival. Furthermore, all hosts of tourist accommodation are now required to register their guests' contact details in a file connected to the Ministry of the Interior of the Government of Spain (information about their flights or boats to and from the hotel, usual address, telephone number, etc.).
