Our family run hostel is located right in the old town of the charming white village of Competa, in the heart of the Axarquia and at the foot of the Almijara National Park. We are just seconds from the main square of the village. If it is a great location you’re after, La Tienda Nueva offers the perfect base to explore. With breathtaking walks direct from the door, from the novice to expert you can be on top of a mountain a thousand meters above sea level in the morning and sit on the beautiful sands of one of our many blue flag beaches in the afternoon. La Tienda Nueva offers air conditioning in all rooms, Wi-Fi, a large, spacious and fully-equipped shared kitchen, a large and cozy living room, and a rooftop terrace with views of the village and the coast, offering beautiful sunsets. Each room has a private bathroom, bed linens, towels, Wi-Fi, and a Smart TV.
