In 2003, our mother, Candelaria, and our uncle José, made the courageous decision to acquire this house, with the vision of transforming it into a cozy rural hotel and a charming restaurant. After 2 years of dedicated renovation and restoration, we finally opened our doors in 2005, offering hospitality and culinary delights to our beloved guests and visitors. During the first years, both Candelaria and José ran both the hotel and the restaurant with passion and dedication, until 2013, when we decided to focus exclusively on accommodation. Today, at La Asomada del Gato, you will be welcomed by Carolina (online) and Graciela (in the house), who share the same passion for exploring new horizons through gastronomy, culture and human contact. Residing in such a welcoming city gives us security and connects us with nature, and managing this small abode offers us the opportunity to make meaningful connections with people from all over the world.
