Pintueles, a typical Asturian village with an 19th C. church & an abundance of hórreos - the Asturian traditional graneries. The El Sidrón Nature Reserve is a walkers´ paradise. Spot wild boar, deer, soaring eagles & wild flowers. Asturian gastronomy is famed in Spain for quality. Sample authentic foods in the collection of traditional cider houses or treat yourself to the real deal in a 1 or 2-star Michelin restaurant. Many traditional village festivals including: the Hazelnut Festival, craft & farmers markets, Easter parades & Infiesto´s very own Feria de Abril, a small, but entertaining take on Sevilla´s famous festival. A stretch of the Camino de Santiago for pilgrims walking in-land from Ribadesella to Oviedo passes through Infiesto. See the Romanesque churches of Santa María (Villamayor) & San Juan de Berbío (Infiesto). El Sueve Nature Reserve & Monte Cayón, a picnic area with BBQs and impressive views of the Picos de Europa are home to the rare ¨caballo Asturcón¨, a breed of horse native the area.
