The house is located on Elephantine Island, a green island on the Nile nearby the High Dam and the first Cataract of the river. The island is facing the Botanical Garden (Kitchener's Island) on the west bank and the modern city of Aswan on the other side. In the middle there are two Nubian villages: Kutti and Siu. On the Kutti edge is settled the archaeological area and museum. On Siu edge of the island takes place the luxury Movenpick Resort. We are near the museum. There are two public ferry boats that reach the island from Aswan Cornish el-Nil. One near the Ferial Gardens and one near KFC. The first one is the nearest to our house. You have access to kitchen tools and a kettle fresh water and a hot water, also toilet paper, soap, linens, towel and a personal desk

Hello, my name is Ahmed I'm a veterinarian student at 4th grade and own a property at Elephantine island worked with tourist during my studies and know the way around the island, I can help you with any local advise and with trips to Abu Simbel, Philae and all the sites you want to visit, and I hope you all a good stay here in Elephantine.

You will live like Egyptian's with the entire environment that makes you feel the the country life, so you would expect to see pets walking around, and the green places, farms. it's a good experience you should try. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Please note that in winter (December, January, February) it may be very cold in the evening and early in the morning, so consider having warm clothes with you. And, personal note, because of the respect of the ancient local traditions, it is better not to use too skimpy clothes while visiting the whole country, especially in small villages.
