My place is close to great views, parks, and art and culture. You’ll love my place because its cosy, beautiful old house, sunny terrace is best place to sit, there is a beautiful river, wonderful sauna, forest & sea nearby. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
I am living in a part of the house downstairs and the guest rooms are upstairs. We have a big shared living room and a kitchen downstairs.
Our house is located in Lahemaa National park. The nature is very beautiful and undisturbed around here. There is Kolga museum just 5 kilometres from Kolga. The museum showcases the history and rich cultural heritage of Kuusalu Parish. The museum is located in Kolga manor. The earliest records of Kolga manor date back to the 13th century, when it belonged to Danish King Valdemar II's son, Duke Kanut, who ruled over the Estonian Dukedom. Even today the main building retains some of the grandeur of that time. There is a restaurant Kolck at Kolga manor. Please check the opening hours beforehand. There is a small grocery store right in the heart of Kolga village.. Not far from Kolga there is Viru Bog study trail. Viru Bog is one of the most accessible bogs in Estonia. Viru Bog is 10 kilometres from our house. You can go there on foot or I can take you there by car (for an extra fee). There is a beautiful view from the limestone cliff over the bay just 2 kilometres away. The place is called Muuksi Stronghold hill. There is a pine tree forest everywhere you look where you can pick berries and mushrooms in summer and autumn. My house is at the foot of the Juminda peninsula.
