The town is incredibly charming, with a harbour, beach and commerce centered on the town square. Svaneke is particularly known for its characteristic colorful half-timbered houses, beautiful gardens and small cozy streets. If you are into good food and gourmet, you can enjoy the city's good restaurants, chocolatier, caramel factory, licorice shop, bolche cookery and ice cream dairies. There is a private parking lot for the house, and there is free street parking in the town of Svaneke.
