The old rafters, constructed from former ship masts and beams, are now visible and create a very special character in the rooms. The new roof has provided better ceiling height without compromising the historical appearance of the house. The garden surrounding the house invites you to relax and play, for both young and old. Here you can enjoy the special Læsø atmosphere surrounded by the island's characteristic nature and fresh sea air. From the house, you have easy access to Vesterø Harbor with its well-stocked fish shop, where you can buy the day's fresh catch. The dune plantation and the sea are also within easy reach and offer wonderful nature experiences all year round. Meet Sune We are Jane and Sune, and together with our two girls and little boy, we have fallen in love with this old seaweed house on Læsø. When we bought it in June 2024, it was in need of some TLC, and we have put our heart and soul into restoring it to its original charm.
