Bilberghus is a new entrepreneurial company that will start renting out bungalows in the summer of 2024. The Bilberg family goes back 3 generations, where Albert Bilberg started renting out holiday homes and rooms under the name “Strandgårdens Motel” back in the 1960s. Since then, Svend Bilberg has run “Bilbergs Camping and Sommerhouse Rental” until the 2000s. Today, the third generation, Thomas and Linda Bilberg, continue the business under the name “Bilberghus - Beyond Bed and Breakfast” and offer 8 beautiful bungalows located with the most beautiful views. As a small family-owned business, you can meet Thomas and Linda Bilberg, who cook breakfast and clean the cabins, and are ready to give tips for the best vacation on the West Coast.

Bilberghus - Beyond and Breakfast offers accommodation for two in a beautiful setting overlooking Ringkøbing Fjord. Our bungalows are built from natural materials and are beautifully located on the heath at Holmsland Klit. When you lie in the double bed you can look out over the small idyllic Bjerregård Harbor where small fishing dinghies are tied up. Maybe you can buy a fish from a local fisherman. You also have a view of Tipperne, one of Denmark's largest bird sanctuaries. From our bungalows you can take walks to the wide sandy beaches and the North Sea, which is only 1 km away. You can also go cycling in the area on the paved bike path or Stand Up Paddle from Bjerregård Harbor. You can also choose to purchase a delicious breakfast basket consisting of freshly prepared, local products from the area. Enjoy fresh bread and a steaming hot coffee with a view of the sunrise over Ringkøbing Fjord.

Bilberghus is located in Bjerregård on Holmsland Klit. The area is known for its wide, white sandy beaches and the roaring North Sea to the west, and the calm, idyllic Ringkøbing Fjord to the east. The bungalows are located right by Bjerregård Harbor, where you can see small anglers setting nets and catching flounder. About 12 km north of Bjerregård is Hvide Sande, an attractive fishing town that has transformed itself into a tourist magnet. Hvide Sande attracts fishermen, surfers and guests who prefer shopping and gourmet. Here you can dine at delicious fish restaurants, eat soft ice cream at the harbor and watch the fishermen pull fish ashore. About 10 km south of Bjerregård is Nymindegab. An old artist colony where famous artists such as Laurits Tuxen and Carl Trier Aagaard stayed during the summer and painted beautiful pictures of the area. Here you can also visit Nymindegab Museum and see many beautiful paintings. Nymindegab is also home to Nymindegab Kro, where you can enjoy a magnificent dinner while watching the sun set over the dunes of the North Coast. About 2 km from the bungalows is a grocery store where you can buy groceries. There is also a small smokehouse where you can buy fresh fish.
