This renovated and converted country house was built in three stages. The oldest, the barn, is from circa 1890, and the main house's two sections are from roughly 1920 and 1950. It was bought by the current owner in 2017 and has undergone extensive renovations. It's a continual work in progress and is not in its final form yet, but definitely has a charm of its own and is much more than just a white box with beds in it. The goal is to make people feel comfortable, like this is their home away from home.
Welcome to my home! The Ring Inn is definitely a passion project, as it is my home in the Eifel as well, and is pretty much a one-man show. One of the greatest reasons why I fell in love with this area is because people are so happy to be here. It's a pleasure to share in that joy and help others to enjoy the area.
I am originally from Lisbon, Portugal, and still go home every off-season, returning to my previous life and career as a flight instructor.
The Nurburgring and the Eifel. Best combination in the world!
