Luetthues, a former washing house, was built 1870 and is the tiniest house of the stairs district. From everywhere, you have a view onto the river Elbe. You can see the big container ships and the cruisers come along (don´t worry, they are very silent!).

I´m French and have been living in Hamburg Blankenese with my 2 kids since 20 years. My main job is completely different, Luetthues is my passion! I bought the tiny house in 2012 and have rented it as a holiday home since 2015.

The river Elbe and the sand beach are in front of the door. You can have a delicious meal or drink right around the corner: on the left hand side in "Kajüte 12", on the right hand side at "Zum Bäcker". On the top of the street (Krumdal), you will find the very nice restaurant "Süllberg" with a great terrace and a fantastic view onto the Elbe and the surroundings.
