The core of the city was built in the 17. century and developed in the 18. century.It was an " Ackerbürghof". The livestock management was inside and outside of the walls and the farmer has got civil rights.In time the house was used cause of different reasons. In 1993 the " Ackerbürghof" becomes a single monument. The "Ackerbürghof" was restored between 1997 and 1999. You live in generously appointed rooms. Since the first of june 2018 the "Thüringer Hof GmbH & Co.KG" operate the "Alter2 Ackerbürghof".
