A former summer residence of the countess of Schaumburg Lippe, the small but stylish Villa Basileia Riverside is peacefully situated on the bank of the Teplá river, close to the spa area. This property houses the Le Marché experience restaurant, run by chef Honza Krajč. There is a daily menu offered, using fresh seasonal ingredients. Selected French and Moravian wines and champagnes offered to complement the dining treats. Restaurant Le Marché features a beautiful garden. In addition, guests can also enjoy original chocolate and fruit desserts and a variety of Davidoff Grand Cru coffee. Thanks to the hotel's position, Villa Basileia Riverside is ideal for jogging and as a base for hiking and cycling tours. There are a number of golf courses and tennis courts within easy reach. Karlovy Vary is the place of the International Film Festival and Villa Basileia Riverside is situated close to the cinema halls.

“Just next to the stream (best thing about it the location indeed). Very peaceful and "zen" as you hear the water running. If you have a meal there you can benefit from a nice terrace, also next to the stream.”
