Ample Places is a family run enterprise dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of superior accommodation and living for culturally sensitive travellers. Both houses of Ample Places, Polytimo & Monadiko, offer a form of accommodation that is unique, providing the best of traditional materials and contemporary facilities. Both Houses are located in a common garden in the center of the exquisite Pano Lefkara village and have been flawlessly designed to provide comfort and aesthetic delight. The buildings have been carefully restored with the utmost care and exceptional workmanship. The houses' individually selected furnishings, art pieces and antique objects have been chosen with special attention, aiming to offer a memorable experience to their guests. Ample Places' ultimate goal is to enable eco-sensitive travelers to experience what it is like to live, eat and sleep in an authentic modern or rural house of a local, in a pleasant and uncluttered space, as well as to feel at home away from home, live as a local while abroad and experience a place through the eyes of the ‘insider’.

My name is Georgiana and I will be your dedicated host of AMPLE PLACES, both Monadiko and Polytimo listed rural houses in Pano Lefkara. Apart from being a Civil Engineer, a wife and a mother of two young ones, I am the owner and manager of AMPLE PLACES. Working for AMPLE PLACES is something that I really do enjoy and love doing! Pano Lefkara is a very well-preserved village, with a unique view of the Troodos mountains, picturesque cobbled streets usually leading to a square and various “kafenia” (local coffee shops). The village is considered to be one of the most important ones in Cyprus, mainly known for its fine embroidered lace, its handcrafted silverware filigree work , as well as for its architecture. According to the legend, Leonardo da Vinci visited the village in 1481, and purchased and brought back to Italy a “lefkaritiko” fine embroidered lace cloth for the main altar of Milan’s Cathedral church (Duomo di Milano). The colourful history of Pano Lefkara village is widely reflected in the inhabitants’ hospitality. A blend of different cultural influences form Lefkara’s rich tradition. Its rugged hill surroundings, the olive and almond trees, its 15 Byzantium Christian churches, dating back to the 14th century, and the fine traditional architecture will create an unforgettable experience for the visitors and a unique holiday escape.
