Chez Nous <3 NOTE: The house has one guest room and when we are away, you can book the whole apartment for 5 people. Our home is a Family Home!!! A perfect Homestay with all the tips to help you plan your stay. It's an extra room for the Mendes Family Guesthouse. The apartment has plenty of Natural light and it's airy, if the weather allows. The Decor matches our personalities, it's filled with plants and very cosy. If you're travelling alone, we like making new friends. If travelling with children, let us know to prepare, and our daughter loves playdates :) Not a hotel, it is a typical Cape Verdean home, and we live onsite.

Family of four and a super friendly Cat named Maya (she's prohibited in the rooms, beds or couches). I (Suelly) am a part-time English tutor and Barber/hairstylist. I am home mostly afternoons. Our daughters are 6 and 0 yrs old, super friendly, and always looking to play. Ildo (my partner) is a personal trainer at the sports pavilion, you can join him if you wish. He enjoys anything that involves sports. We are always practicing languages and enjoy learning as we converse with our guests. It's an enormous pleasure for us to host and we will try our very best to help you with planning your stay. We do small tours/experiences, know a car rental, prepare breakfast, Cape Verdean Brunch (all at low cost), we can teach you how to make our dishes, have laundry service, and so on. There are many places of interest just footsteps away. Many restaurants and shops nearby, museums, Sucupira market, US Embassy (if you are here for an appointment). The bus stop is a street away, and taxis pass by all the time. Kebra Canela beach is 30 min walking distance. The port is 5 min. drive and the airport 10 min. The Hospital is near and sometimes not so quiet to be honest, but we hand out ear plugs.
