Bienvenidos! Meet us, Roger & Wendy. Recently, we moved to Costa Rica together with our 3 beloved dogs. Our idea was to start a Glamping in Costa Rica. And we believe that we found the perfect spot for enjoying and exploring the Arenal area in Costa Rica! Our idea for Pura Vista Glamping started last year. We were on a mission to find a property in the Arenal region, if possible, in El Castillo. After multiple vacations in the region, we found the perfect spot for our adventure. The property is named 'Riding Ring' and it has a beautiful horse stable on it. As soon as we entered the premises, we were stunned by the scenic view of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. We felt it both straightaway: this is the perfect spot to build our dream and share its beauty with our guests! Moving to Costa Rica is not our first living abroad experience. At a young age, growing up in the Netherlands, we moved to the island Aruba in the Caribbean. After working there for 23 years, mostly in education, we started dreaming of a new adventure. Nevertheless, leaving our friends and resigning from our jobs in education, was a big step. Besides moving to a country with a different language and culture, we also were changing our professions. Surprisingly, we have become entrepreneurs after being educators for more than two decades.

The people are very friendly and helpful and there is a lot going on in this town. It is booming with activities for tourists and at the same time, it feels like a secret and peaceful hideaway in the middle of nature. At our glamping site you have a magnificent view of the Arenal volcano, the Arenal lake and a beautiful valley. You can enjoy great bird spotting from your private terrace. There are several restaurants nearby on walking distance, nature trails, the Arenal lake with many activities, a butterfly conservatory, Gavilan permaculture, spa and yoga facilities.
